When you simply can´t pick one...

I have never been good at making decisions, so much so, that I couldn’t pick one art form and stick with that, but I keep evolving, exploring and testing out new medias.

What ties my art together, be it textile art, illustrations or 3d work, is that my inner child keeps inspiring me. I try to listen to “little Mia” and if something makes her happy, I proceed.

I have learned that “little Mia” likes everything cozy, so my work tries to evoke a feeling of coming home. Illustrations show scenes that make the viewer feel good, my knit- and crochet patterns are meant to not only be comfortable but also fun and my jewelry makes every outfit more whimsical.
I believe that the world is troubling enough as is and that (my) art should be used to brighten it wherever it can.
